Baltazar Aguero, lovingly known as “Pete” to his family and friends, passed away at his home on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the age of 91.
Pete was born on March 22, 1935 in Villa Union, Coahuila Mexico, to Pedro and Andrea Aguero. In 1943, he and his family moved to Christoval, Texas. From an early age, Pete learned the value of hard work, helping his father as a ranch hand before beginning a long career at Pool Well Service until he retired.
Pete was proceeded in death by his beloved parents and his wife of 43 years, Victoria Aguero. He is survived by his children, Lupe Garcia of Ft. Worth; Pedro Aguero of Bryan, Texas; Ninfa (Ron) Trevino of Fort Worth, Texas; Irma (Clifton) Howell of Ocoee, Florida, and Kristine (Alex) Spalloni of Monument, Colorado; Rosa Belman of Eldorado, Texas; Nancy Sanchez of San Angelo, Texas; Josie Luna of Odessa, Texas; Julie (Jesus) Garcia of Eldorado, Texas; Metro Belman of Eldorado, Texas; Mike Belman of Eldorado, Texas and Lance Belman of San Angelo, Texas. He is also survived by his siblings, Lupe Perez of Menard, Texas; Lydia Perez of San Angelo, Texas; Ninfa Ruiz of San Angelo, Texas; Amalia Swirsky of San Angelo, Texas, and Raul (Diana) Aguero of Knickerbocker, Texas. His loss will be cherished by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:00 am on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Eldorado, Texas. Graveside services will be immediately after. Family and friends are invited to gather at Harper Funeral Home prior to mass to visit with one another and view a memorial slideshow celebrating his life.
