Doris Dean Hearn, age 66, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 11th, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Doris was born in Sonora, TX on February 11th, 1960, to parents Jack and Bernice Hearn. Doris attended Sonora schools and graduated from Sonora High in 1978. She then attended and graduated from Howard Payne University with a degree in accounting. She went on to further her education by obtaining a paralegal degree from Texas State University of San Marcos. Doris work in San Antonio, Midland, and then the Dallas area as a paralegal for over 40 years.
Doris was known for her generosity and loved doing for others; if you ever knew Doris, then you were a recipient of this love and kindness. Doris loved her friends and always tried to maintain ties with both, old and new. Doris loved her family immensely; she was our biggest advocate and supporter. She loved and cared for her parents until they were deceased.
Doris loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her very own. Any one of them will tell you stories of how she spoiled them, like always taking them to sonic for treats, or letting them drive her car...before they had a license! This love and spoiling also extended to her cousin's children, who grew up across the street from her. And then the tradition continued on to the great nieces and nephews!
Survivors include her siblings Jack Hearn Jr and wife Judy, Allen (Hoot) Hearn and wife Kathy, and Betty Moore and husband Wayland. Also, nieces and nephews, Jason Hearn of Brady, Laura Tyler of San Angelo, Jodie Evans of San Angelo, and Jared Weant of Blanco. Great nieces and nephews, Jaclyn Hearn, Jadie Hearn, Jake Hearn, Tanna Wolfe, Dylan Weant, Alexis Evans, and Kasen Evans. Also, she is survived by an aunt and uncle and numerous cousins.
Doris was preceded in death by both parents, Jack and Bernice Hearn, and by a very special niece, Melissa B. Hearn.
