Frank Barajas

Francisco E. Barajas, 84, of Eldorado, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Eldorado. He was born on January 29, 1942, in Menard, Texas to Ramon St. Barajas and Felicitas Espinosa Barajas.

Mr. Barajas worked in the potato fields in Colorado, where he met and married his beloved wife, Petra Enriquez Barajas, on May 23, 1970. They made their home in Eldorado, Texas. He dedicated more than 20 years of service to Nibletts Oilfield Services before retiring.

He is survived by his daughters, Diana Martinez and husband Gerald Martinez, Gloria Barajas, and Annette Santellano and husband Steven Santellano; his sons, Frank Jr. Barajas and wife Melissa Barajas, and Edward Barajas and wife Ernestina Brajas, his siblings, Ramiro Barajas, Ramon Jr. Barajas and wife Ellia Barajas, and Maria Hill and husband Moses Hill; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Sr. and Felicitas Barajas; his wife, Petra Barajas; his brother, Greg Barajas; and his sisters, Ninfa Fuentes and Ermenia Mejia.

Franciso will be remembers for his deep love for his family, his strong work ethic, and the life he built in Eldorado. Anyone who knew him knew he was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on every chance he got. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Viewing will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Harper-Welch Funeral Home, in Eldorado.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Agape Assembly of God, with burial to follow at Schleicher County Cemetery.
