Juan A. Arispe, Sr.

Juan A. Arispe, Sr., passed away on June 28 2026 at the age of 92. 

Juan was born March 17, 1934 to Feliz and Paula Arispe in Eldorado, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Eldorado.

He will be remembered for his hard work, strength, kindness, and love. These values were passed to his family and will be remembered and cherished for generations to come.

He is survived by his children Madgalena Martinez, Maria Adame (Robert), Juan A. Arispe Jr., and Maricela Jones (Joey), Son in law, Ramon Adame, Sr and special friend Antonio “Tony” Martinez, Sr.

Later in life he married Maria Arispe, bringing with her a lovely family of Luz Ramos (Felix), Esequiel Marinez (Jannifer), Norma Torres (Elpidio), Adriana Orona, Roxanne Arispe (Jorge), and Daniel Martinez. Juan, also known as Grandpa Checo, leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. His family was the greatest joy of his life.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort that he is reunited again with those he dearly loved. He is preceded in death by his parents Feliz and Paula Arispe, his brother Porfirio Arispe, daughters Margarita Arispe and Martha Adame, his two grandsons Ramon (Tatis) Adame, Jr. and Andrew Gonzales, and his granddaughter Airianna Martinez.

His family was his greatest joy in life and treasured every moment spent with them. Although Juan is no longer with us, he will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

A funeral service will be held at Agape Church in Eldorado, on June 30, 2026, at 10 am, under the direction of Harper-Welch Funeral Home.
