Maria Velasquez Huichapa, 66, left this earth for her eternal home on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026.
She was born to Maria Fuentes Zuniga and Lazaoro Velasquez. On December 24, 1975, Maria married Jose Huichapa, who preceded her in death on July 5th, 2018.
Survivors include her sons: Gerald Huichapa, Rocky Huichapa and wife Corie, and Ricky Huichapa (Lourdes), her three grandchildren: Miguel Huichapa, Andrea Huichapa and Dallas Martinez, her Brother Sonny Velasquez, nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins. Also, her special uncles: Nicho Fuentes and Juan Fuentes.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Christina Huichapa, son Richard Huichapa. mom Maria Fuentes Zuniga and dad Lazaro Velasquez.
Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday, May 3-4, 2026, at Harper-Welch Funeral Home in Eldorado, TX. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Eldorado, TX with burial to follow at the Eldorado cemetery.
