Mary A. Marroquin, of Eldorado, Texas, passed away on October 7, 2026, in San Angelo at the age of 66. She was born on November 12, 1959, in Sonora, Texas.
Mary will be remembered with love for the life she lived and the simple joys she cherished. She worked as a housekeeper, a role that reflected her steady spirit and hardworking nature. In the home and among those who knew her best, she was especially known for cooking tortillas and hot sauce, and for the delight she found in her caramel frape. Those close to her also remember her playful side, including the fond memory of her running from her mother and chores. Above all, Mary’s faith in God was central in her life, and her strength in overcoming her vices stood as one of her proudest accomplishments.
She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward with affection and gratitude. Mary is survived by her sisters, Gloria Gonzalez and Juan Gonzalez, and Juanita Puente; by her brothers, Arturo Adame and Rosie Adame, Sebero Rojas, and Felix Ochoa, and stepsister Monica; and by her nieces, Lenore and Genie, with whom she shared a special bond, along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Their love, shared memories, and enduring bond will remain a lasting tribute to her life.
She was preceded in death by Guadelupe Adame, Abel Moreno, her brother Juaquin Rojas, and her sister Adeline Adame.
Mary’s life was marked by perseverance, faith, and the familiar comforts she shared with others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
