Virginia Zuniga

With heavy hearts and deep respect, we announce the passing of Virginia Zuniga on July 24, 2026. She was born on November 27, 1958, in Piedras Negras Coahuila.

Virginia’s journey was one marked by love, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Guillermo Zuniga, standing by his side and building a legacy grounded in love, mutual respect, and shared dreams.

As a mother, Virginia’s nurturing spirit flourished. She is survived by her daughters, Agatha, Esmeralda, Catherine, and Natasha. She also leaves behind her son, Geronimo. Her children were the center of her world, and she took great pride in supporting, guiding, and loving them through all the stages of their lives. Virginia’s influence extended over “many” grandchildren and “many” great-grandchildren who will undoubtedly carry her memory and spirit forward, cherishing the lessons and love she imparted.

Virginia’s familial bond extended to her mother, Paula Martinez, who survives her. The family also honors the memory of Virginia’s late father, Arnulfo Montalvo, and her brothers, Arnulfo Montalvo Jr. and Arthur Montalvo, whose memories Virginia held close throughout her life.

Those mourning her loss remember Virginia for her warmth and enduring kindness, her love for the outdoors, gardening, traveling, crocheting , cooking and fishing. She provided steadfast support and compassion to her family, and her strength and example continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her presence will be greatly missed and her legacy cherished by family and all who had the privilege to know her.
